Yes. Clochat doesn't require a phone number, SIM card or email to communicate inside the messenger.
What do other users see?
Other users see your username. Your Clochat ID remains personal and is not used as a public search method.

End-to-end encryption protects all messages between devices, including private chats, files and voice messages.
How is Clochat different from Telegram or WhatsApp?
Telegram and WhatsApp require a phone number to sign up. Clochat asks for neither a number nor an email — you create an account with just a username, and end-to-end encryption is on in every chat by default, not only in "secret" ones.
How do I recover access to my account?
A secret 12-word recovery phrase is generated at sign-up — it is the only key to your account. Keep it somewhere safe: no SMS or email is needed to log in.
Are there disappearing messages?
Yes. Auto-delete can be enabled in any chat — messages vanish for both participants after the chosen time.
Can I make calls with Clochat?
Yes, audio and video calls are available with end-to-end encryption — protected between devices, just like messages.
